Each dog that comes to our shop is as individual as we humans are. They will be treated with the care and love they deserve. We will use special shampoos and conditioners for each dogs hair coat and skin type. We use the same products on our own personal family dogs, which all told encompasses around 16 at any given time.

We use all the same products and techniques on our own dogs and horses. Not only do we groom dogs for home and show ring, we also groom and show World Champion Quarter Horses and Arabians.

Steps of Grooming

  1. Your pet is placed in a clean kennel with his name and pick up time.
  2. Your pet is gone over for mats and pre-clipping and determined for shampoo/conditioners for their hair and skin type.
  3. Your pet is then hand bathed and partially air dried in the tub,. Then wrapped with a towel and set on the drying table.
  4. Your pet is fluff dried by hand and brushed and combed to perfection.
  5. Your pet when fluffed and brushed has relax time in the same kennel until he/she is ready for final clipping or scissoring. We try to use the same clean kennel each time they arrive.
  6. Finishing touches, nails and bows or ribbons, if desired, are added to await a happy owner!

We have no cage drying. Each handler stays with their dog and is never left unattended.

Special care is given to all dogs. But, especially the older, blind and deaf. We take more time with the dogs because they deserve it. If needed, we will work with you on after hours appointments.

We are here for your pet's need and comfort level...whatever that may be.
